Kids NEED YOGA TOO!

Children’s yoga classes are quite different from the typical meditative adult yoga class and encouraged to explore the body and mind in a fun-filled way as children are animated, noisy and free-spirited! Adults often have to work at yoga, but kids play yoga!

Children truly are "Big Souls in Little Bodies." They learn best from their own personal experience, and Yoga is a wonderful way for children to strengthen their growing bodies while at the same time exploring their inner being.

Children practice fun-filled yoga poses and breathing exercises to promote physical strength and flexibility, concentration, focus and attention, inner strength and body awareness, confidence and self-esteem, relaxation and self-control, a feeling of well-being and respect for others, and love for one's self, inside and out.

Yogalogy teaches kids yoga in Maroubra, South Coogee, Malabar, Little Bay. Kids yoga gives kids strength, flexibility and balance of the body, mind and spirit. They experience the joy and vitality of being in a body, connect to their breath, find self-compassion, self-acceptance and confidence, and they relax.

In summary - children derive enormous benefit from kids yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strenght, coordination, and body awareness. 4.5-8 Years:

Classes commence on Monday, April 23. Course Fee $160 for 10  weeks.

  * Mondays 3:30-4:15pm @ YOGALOGY Studio 

  * Thursdays 3:30-4:15pm @ Malabar Public School

                                                

9-14 Years:

Classes commence on Monday, April 23. Course Fee $160 for 10  weeks.

Kids Yoga

4.5-8 YEAR OLD CHILDREN YOGA

This class is without parents, and involves new physical and conceptual challenges. Children are grouped according to age and yoga experience. All classes include yoga and creative improvisation. It is within the improvisational structure students develop a sophisticated understanding of the complex elements of yoga asanas - in solo as well as group work.

9-14 YEAR OLD CHILDREN YOGA

Yoga for 9-14 year old kids is the most beneficial activity for any child in those formative years. Along with awareness, it helps children focus, be confident and cope with studies and peer pressure at school and out. 

2-4 YEAR OLD CHILDREN YOGA

An introduction into yoga that caters for children who are 2-4 years old and attend classes with a carer. An atmosphere is created in which the children and adults may enjoy the pleasures of playing the yoga poses, becoming the animals and going on a journey into a themed yoga class every week. Breathing techniques and guided relaxation with a story are included into the practice.
